The Chalfont Fire Company consists of two stations used to respond to fire and rescue calls. Our main station is located at 101 N Main Street in Chalfont. STATION 74 - WEST STATION
Station 74 is located off of School House Rd in New Britain Township in the Highlands. It was built in 1984. Ladder 74: This is what is called a quint truck. It has a 75 foot aerial ladder, 500 gallons of water and 1750 gallons per minute pump. It holds 8 firefighters. Tac 74: Ford F-550 with a utility body. It has a 290 gallon tank, 10 gallons of foam and a 290 gpm pump. It has seating for 5 firefighters and has brush fire, haz-mat, and auto extrication capabilities.
