The Chalfont Fire Company extends its thoughts and prayers to the members of the Bensalem Rescue Squad and the friends and family of Paramedic Dan McIntosh. Paramedic McIntosh, age 39, lost his life while on an EMS call at approximately 1900 hours on March 7, 2010. The details surrounding the death of Paramedic McIntosh remain unclear. Dan had been with the Bensalem Rescue Squad for over 13 years. He also served as a Paramedic for the Bucks County South SWAT Team and as a part-time police officer in Hulmeville Borough. Paramedic McIntosh leaves behind a wife, and two young daughters (ages 1 and 5).
