Chalfont Fire Company would like to send out our condolences on the passing of Chalfont Fire Company Auxiliary member Alma Funk she was 90, Alma was a significant part in the Chalfont Fire Company and could always be seen taking charge of the troops every buffet breakfast. Alma was a former president of Chalfont Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary for a period of 18 years. She was still an active member at the time of her death. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, March 5, at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave. (Route 202), Chalfont, where the viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Carversville Cemetery.
